The Ray-ban Store is a place where people have exposition, concerts, artistic events etc. 'Wayfarer' became a model of the sunglasses for the character. I made two versions of the finals.

One morning in 2012, I got an e-mail from AD Lee and immediately went to my studio in the midtown NYC. While I was waited for the response of my idea sketches, I spilled a cup of tea to my computer and it suddenly stopped working!! OMfG!!! The deadline was tomorrow morning and I was about to faint!!... Few minutes later, my studio neighbor Yuko Shimizu at that time recognized it and kindly rent her second laptop, so I could successfully done this piece!
Phew~~~ Everytime I saw this piece, it reminded the thrilled moment I've ever had!! It was about Global Economics - Who really runs Korea? Link

AD: Briar Levit
In the summer of 2009, I was just graduated from SVA undergrad program, I got an e-mail titled 'Illustrate for us?' from Briar. It was my VERY first time editorial illustration job, and I'd never expected someone was going to hire me from few promo cards that I randomly sent out. At that time, my mom was came over to my NYC apt, and can't forget the time I was working on the series. The first start was good and the series are one of my favorite illustrations until now! :)
Very early works from the Stranger and the Phoenix from 2012 and early 2013!
I made my character as 'Miss Eggplant' and did some personal works of different styles. Aram Kim and I did every month of 2013 color collabortions, and some animated work credit to my sister Doe Rohan.
